The E&A CFO Group is an innovative and highly respected CPA and business advisory services firm in St. Louis. Its two components are Eckelkamp & Associates, CPAs, P.C., and E&A Management Partners, LLC. The E&A CFO Group is the overall " brand" for all of our services. Eckelkamp & Associates, CPAs, P.C. provides the attest services (audits, reviews, etc.) that only a licensed CPA firm can provide. E&A Management Partners, LLC delivers all of the "non-attest" tax, accounting, and consulting services to small businesses, their owners, and individuals with sophisticated needs.

Founded in 1996, E&A's team holds true to several core principles and provides a full range of traditional accounting services and several highly specialized services that meet their needs. E&A delivers high quality, effective client service reflecting our passion for creating solutions that help clients overcome the challenges they face and for helping clients achieve their goals. We are committed to understanding our clients’ objectives, filling their needs, and creating solutions and opportunities achieving their objectives.

E&A builds strong client relationships and understands the importance of keeping those relationships strong. Our roots are in running businesses ourselves, having worked on "your side of the desk" before joining E&A. This allows us to collaborate effectively and treat your business issues as if they were our own. Then, we provide practical solutions to those issues based on first-hand knowledge of the challenges a business person faces, not as a "career outsider."

Though global in reach, having served clients in/from 61 countries (and over 40 states), E&A's comparatively small size allows it to deliver big firm talent with small firm attention and a variety of technical and industry-specific expertise. Not-for-profit organizations, medical practices, expatriate taxpayers, and technology companies are our primary client concentrations.

In addition to those needing traditional accounting and tax services, organizations turn to us for interim executive management, “Rent-A-CFOsm; services, audits, or accounting department outsourcing, whether that is because of explosive growth, business transitions, acquisitions/divestitures, etc. We appreciate the confidence and loyalty clients demonstrate by their continued business and by their referrals.

As part of our commitment to serving clients well, E&A invests in topflight technology and is quick to adopt new practices that benefit clients. E&A was an early adopter of concepts now becoming commonplace because we saw the benefit to clients and knew it would take time for clients to transition comfortably. We implemented electronic document management (“paperless”) systems and invested in multiple monitors (4 on every desk, now) before most local firms and switched from good stand-alone separate software applications to an even better, fully integrated, Virtual Office suite of accounting, payroll, and tax software. The vastly improved convenience, added capabilities, and far better backup/security measures were too important to delay.
